So, nearly one….
Turning 1 is more significant for you as parents than it is for your child. It’s a “Yes we did it and we survived!” and a “Woah, what a year, I wouldn’t change it for the world!” kind of age. Until they turn 18, I don’t think there is another birthday that will be this special.
I truly believe that photographs are one of the best family memories you can own, they won’t fade or change. You have done an amazing job over the last year. You have nurtured your little bundle who used to be curled up in the crook of our arm and raised them to be the sweet babbling, curious and cheeky little human they are now.

A natural twist on the traditional cake smash. This woodland adventure can be set up in all kinds of settings, can be personally themed and can involve the whole family!!

45 minute photoshoot
A private online gallery to view all your images
3 full resolution digital images with matching 6x4’’ prints
Your choice of themes
Parents and/or siblings can be included in the later part of the session
A payment of £50 is used to book the photoshoot
The balance of £149 is due two days before the shoot date

The cake is just one part of these story telling pictures, although it is the most yummy part! You get to take what’s left home with you to enjoy with a cup of tea.

It’s their story.
There is exploring to do in the woods. Movement is encouraged; crawling, rocking on a horse or dancing with the trees. If it fits their personality, I will capture it.

All you need to know

A cake smash is essentially a 30 minute sensory play session.
We will be out doors, baby can explore the theme of the tipi and touch all the props, we play be-bo, sit on or stand holding on to logs. we play with messy cake and ride in a wooden rocking horse.

These sessions are best booked between April - October but if you have a hardy little one and they are not bothered by the colder days then drop me an email and we can find the perfect date.
I also have a Studio space where the Tipi can be set up and we can have the same cake smash session but indoors.

If the rain is heavy or it’s very windy then you have two options…. we can postpone until the weather passes or we can move the photoshoot indoors to my studio.

Yep, full transparency. You can view the package upgrades on this website, you will be sent the upgrade options at booking and again after you have seen the gallery….. There are options for everyone and there are payment plans too.

I have a favourite spot in Audley End Park Saffron Walden CB10. lots of parking. Space to move around and fairly quiet.

Yep…. the cake is made fresh for you photoshoot by a local cake maker. She is happy to cater to dietary needs and if there is any left you get to take it home and enjoy it with a hot cup of tea whilst baby sleeps.

Sure…. Once I have all the photos of baby then the rest f the family can join in for the last few. This session is about remembering the milestone and the family is part of that.
